Start Close In: A Coaching Intensive with the Seven Elements

We invite you to join us for a grounding of your coaching and professional practice, an intensive designed to help you “start close in” and allow your work to become your teacher.

August 16-19, 2026
Rainbow Lodge, North Bend, Washington

An immersive Invitas experience

This program focuses on direct application, inviting you to bring your own client cases into a shared space for Seven Elements coaching, group reflection, and peer consultation. Together, we will navigate the Seven Elements of Conversational Leadership—from “Stopping the Conversation” to “The Harvest of Presence”—as a framework for deepening your professional artistry. By bringing your active work into this intensive, you will navigate the beautiful and disturbing frontiers of courage and trepidation from which you step into your professional life.

Through facilitated peer consultation and group dialogue, we aim to move toward a mature response that allows you to shift fluidly between various perspectives. This is an opportunity to find an outer craft to your inner artistry as a way of being fully in the world, allowing you to navigate both your professional practice and the wider picture of your life.

You will have the opportunity to break the lock of a single way of seeing by engaging in multiple layers of inquiry:

Self-Reflection: Look inward to consider how your own internal mindset, psychological patterns, and history influence how you set up professional situations.

Relational Reflection: Move into an observer stance to acknowledge feelings and gain compassionate insight into the perspectives of others. Also, adopting an “us” stance, recognizing mutual influence and responsibility for the relational dilemmas created between you and your clients.

Systemic Reflection: Utilize a “balcony ability” to see the connections between individual behaviors and the larger organizational and cultural systems they are embedded within.
